Geiko and geisha have the same meaning.
By the way, Maiko is a geisha apprentice up to the age of 20.
We work as Geiko at Arima Onsen in Kobe, Japan.
Arima Onsen is the oldest and most famous hot spring in Japan.
Arima Onsen is very prestigious and the same is true for geiko.
We convey Japanese culture and perform traditional Japanese dance.
We may show it to customers in the US, Europe and other contries,or danse abroad.
I wear beautiful kimonos and dance every day, practice the shamisen, and protect Japanese culture, but the number of geisha is decreasing year by year.
There used to be 150 geisha, but now there are only about 10.
